The good thing is the solution for shortness is just around the corner. These are some of the things you can do improve your height.
First, get sufficient sleep. Sleep-deficient individuals often have problems with height. This is because their bodies have not or are not receiving sufficient rest to kick in the body processes directly linked to growth. During sleep, the body releases its HGH or Human Growth Hormone. This eight-hour period is enough to give time for the hormone to circulate the entire body.
Second, get enough food. A well-balanced diet highly influences the speed by which growth processes occur inside the body. For those people who do not receive the necessary nutrition to trigger and sustain growth, it is only logical for them to grow shorter than their well-fed counterparts. Women should be cautious about wearing heels though, since these come with a price – the combination of postural problems, poor balance, and structural strains on the muscles of the feet, thigh, calves and lower back.
Fifth, wear a hair that can make you look taller. And most importantly, don’t disappear in your hair. A short person should resign to more height-flattering choices of hairstyle that not only highlight their face but give them a smarter look. Thus, long locks, big hair and extra wavy hairstyles must be avoided. Instead, maintain your hairstyle in such a way that your hair does not cover your face and your neck. For this work, short bobs come highly recommended. Nevertheless, for the more adventurous and less traditional women, a spiky hairstyle may be the best option.
